Hey Lemonade is the stress and motivation app to quickly deal with modern problems in a practical, solution-focussed way. Our goal is to tackle smaller mental health issues before they become bigger. We achieve this through offering hundreds of 3-minute, evidence-based pep talks to help users manage everyday stress, increase confidence and build resilience via solution-focussed therapy.

Talks are used as stress and motivation interventions for in the moment issues; or as pre-emptive confidence and perspective builders to develop capabilities over time through increasing users resilience.

We all need support at times, and most days (let’s face it) you only have 5 minutes to pull it together. Hey Lemonade is there to help calm you down and shift perspective so you can keep going with your day. No matter where you are coming from, be it your best, worst or most in-between day, if you hang out with us for 3 minutes, your day will be better!

Every talk is around 3 minutes long and available with online and offline capabilities.

GROUNDED IN SCIENCE All talks are guided by experts, passed through our in house psychologists and grounded in evidence from solution-focussed therapy.  Hey Lemonade has been tested by the CSIRO and proven to generate positive health outcomes for the mood, stress, and emotional wellbeing of participants including increased calmness and vitality and a decrease in perceptions of daily hassles.  Science and pep talks, together at last!

DELIVERED BY VOICES YOU LOVE & TRUST All talks are offered in at least 3 different voice options so you can find the tone to suit how you need to hear your support. Voices include a range of trusted, high-profile Australians all waiting to tell you in many and varied ways, ‘you’ve got this!’

ADDRESS SITUATION-SPECIFIC STRESSES Pep talks address a range of specific everyday stresses. From workplace pressure, relationship problems and managing big emotions to talks that get you focused and motivated, our talks have been written for a wide range of situations, including Feeling overwhelmed; When you’ve got imposter syndrome; When you’re feeling bleurgh; A gee up before a date or big meeting; Chill morning high five; or a talk for when you need to get to sleep. Each pep has been crafted to offer a new perspective on 100s of everyday stressful situations, and leave you more resilient to deal with the stress at hand.

WRITTEN IN A FUN, PRAGMATIC TONE All peps are written by our team of straight shootin’, funny, compassionate, award-winning, creative writers, without the woo woo. They take the theory from our psychologists, then craft the ideal talk with a balance of science, perspective and humour.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES Users can Suggest new talk topics.

Subscribed users have access to new talks released monthly as well as the ability to gift peps to friends, family and colleagues.
